Parenting Workshop:
“Parenting during Advent - Anticipation or Anxiousness?”  
led by Stephanie Bowe
Sunday, Nov. 4^th 3:30-5:00 pm @  St. Bart’s 
Thanksgiving is fast approaching and the Christmas decorations are
already up in the Mall because there are 50 shopping days left until
Christmas.  You and your spouse are invited to two Christmas parties
this December, which include a Yankee Swap.  There are cookies to
bake, cards to write, a tree to decorate, and gifts to buy.  Your
children’s school “holiday” concerts are coming up and one of them
needs a white shirt and black pants.  Most of us want to anticipate
Jesus' birth, but feel anxious and overwhelmed with everything else
we have to fit in.  Through lecture and small group discussions,
Stephanie will share with us some strategies on how we can maintain
our priorities and our sanity during Advent while anticipating one of the
most joyous times of the year – the remembrance of Jesus’ birth.

       Workshop fee: free - babysitting is available for a suggested
      donation of $5/child
