Grades 7-8   Junior Youth Ministry
  --  Sundays 10:15-11:15 a.m. 

This program follows our parish mission that is also seen in the Youth Ministry 
Program (Justice and Service, Prayer and Worship, Evangelization, Catechesis, 
Advocacy, Community Life, Pastoral Care and Leadership Development).  

This model will offer 4 “mini-courses” throughout each year.  The mini-courses 
that will be offered will be chosen from the following:  “Praying,” “Understanding
Myself,” “Growing up Sexually,”  “Learning to Communicate,”  “Making Decisions,” 
“Being Catholic,” “Dealing with Tough Times,” and “Gathering to Celebrate.” 

We usually need about 4-6 Catechists to implement this program, who will work in 
pairs to lead groups of 15-20.  We always need help from parents to help coordinate
our occasional socials, service projects, and involvement at liturgy (which may occur 
on other days and times).  Training is provided.
